Oncologist Recommended

‘What should I eat?’ is the most common question I hear in my cancer clinic. It’s an important yet challenging question to answer because my patients are often on many prescribed treatments. Oncologists strive to give safe and healthy advice to our patients. I recommend to cancer patients to answer this all-important question.

Cancer patients with Myelodysplastic syndromes and acute myeloid leukemias often develop resistance to their treatment. Particularly the hypomethylation (HMA) therapy with azacitidine (AZA) has been in the center of my scientific focus. I observed the benefit of personalized nutrition and have observed in patients that the drug sensitivity to cancer treatments like AZA has been regained.
